CLOSED COOKING POTS, R-CP7A

Description: Cooking pots characterized by a globular or t body, a neck varying in height and a triangular rim, more or less pronounced.Type. R-CP7 A, is characterized by a simple or triangular rim and tall everted neck, medium-sized (average high: 20 cm") with bi-conical, um-ribbed body, vertical, tall, slightly with slightly everted neck, convex bottom, and a simple triangular or rounded rim. Two ribbed strap handles are attached from from rim to shoulder Occurrence: Maresha, second century BCE (Levine 2003: fig. 6.6:72).
