General Information
Beit Nattif figurines have a distinct style, typology and technical features. The color of the clay range between 7.5YR 7/3, 4 and 7.5YR 8/3, 4. Usually the figurine's front is made from a mold, and a strip of clay is smoothed onto the surface of the back. The figurines are open at the bottom and have a hollow body. The repertoire comprises mainly naked females, horse-and-riders, and animals- mostly birds (double sided and made with two molds).
