Description

The fabric is brown-green in PPL and clearly highly fired due to the high sintering. There are nearly no voids and the clay is vitrified.

The silt fraction is dominated by quartz, biotite, and ferruginous nodules.

Sand-sized aplastic inclusions mainly igneous-derived minerals such as pyroxenes, basalts, and some pillow lava. Pyroxenes are frequent, basalt and pillow lava are common, and quartz is common to frequent.
