Fabric is tan brown with green tint in PPL, highly sintered with some iron concretions. Micaceous clay.
Somewhat silty, hard to identify but maybe quartz.
Few (ca. 2.5%) sand-sized inclusions overall. (M)c:f:v of (86.5)2.5:10:1. Lots of micas, some quartz, rare chert (unsure - white in XPL, triangular habit, interesting expanding circle type of extinction). Augite, which display 2 good cleavages nearly at right angles.
