The fabric is a light tan-brown color in PPL, and seems to vary between lighter brown and a stained red-brown, with no particular orientation. C:f:v of ca. 20:75:5. Voids are angular to sub-angular vugh shaped, typically over 200 microns. Foraminifera and other well-rounded calcareous materials are dominant, with very few sub-rounded basaltic rock fragments and rare sub-rounded quartz. Inclusions are moderately sorted.
