Description


The fabric is a silty and slightly optically active rendzina, single-spaced with ~10% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 25% sub-rounded to rounded calcite/foraminifera (30-120 μm), 15% sub-angular to rounded chalk/calcareous concretions (50-380 μm), 10% sub-angular to rounded quartz (140-400 μm); some: rhomboid dolomite (40-120 μm), sub-rounded to rounded opaque minerals (40-120 μm).
