Description

The fabric is a slightly optically active rendzina, silty with ~25% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 25% sub-rounded to rounded foraminiferous chalk (30-250 μm), 15% angular to sub-angular quartz (moderately sorted, 30-120 μm); some: sub-sounded to rounded calcareous concretions (60-180 μm), rounded clay balls (60-160 μm); rare: sub-rounded basaltic rock (350 μm).
