Excavated by the Jabal Hamrat Fidan Project, with thanks to Thomas E. Levy and Mohammad Najjar. This sherd will appear in a forthcoming co-authored publication.
This sherd is tentatively attributed to Southern Jordan Roman-Byzantine Plain Ware, as it belongs to a still loosely defined group of jars found primarily in southern Jordan and it may represent continuity of this ware tradition. Further research on these wares may change this attribution.
