Transport amphora

Soft, reddish yellow fabric (7.5 YR 7/6). Abundant, well sorted very fine to fine quartz (up to 0.25mm). Sparse, fine to medium (up to 0.5mm) black rock fragments and very sparse, very fine gold mica.

Body sherd 3.3 x 4.4 cm, thickness 0.9 cm

Transport/Storage

Distinctive, shallow ‘clapboard ridges’ on the exterior and groov - ing on the interior.
