The shipwreck is located at a depth of some 2 m. and covers an area of 19.6 x 4.9 m. An assemblage of some 38 amphoras, including Late Roman Amphora 1 (LRA 1) was uncovered. The chronology (mid-7th to mid-8th c.) was confirmed by C14 analysis. Petrographic analysis on one LRA 1 vessel indicated a possible Cypriot origin.
