Description

The fabric is a reddish marl, slightly optically active, silty, and single-spaced with 10% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 20% sub-angular to rounded to rhomboid dolomite/calcareous concretions (50-1200 μm), 15% moderately sorted sub-rounded to angular quartz (30-150 μm), 5% sub-angular to rounded opaque minerals (40-250 μm); some: sub-rounded to rounded pellets (120-250 μm), sub-angular to sub-rounded limestone (40-150 μm), rhomboid dolomite (40-60 μm), rounded foraminifera (30-60 μm).
