Description

ESA from Kinet Huyuk: Group A: Calcareous dark brown matrix, low optical activity, no major inclusions, general inclusions size less than 50-100µm, matrix includes small pyroxene, biotite and iron oxide minerals, few grog fragments (250-500µm), few feldspars (sericite alteration), few small quartz and plagioclase fragments. Microporosity is minimal (< 50µm). Group B: Overall very small inclusions (< 100µm). The matrix is calcareous rich with some limited macroporosity. Some small biotite grains are recognized (50µm-100µm), exceptionally serpentine was identified.
