Clay matrix is fine silty material, considerably homogeneous and makes up 90% of the petrofabric. Clay is medium grey under XPL and medium brown under PPL. Inclusions comprise 10% of the fabric and are poorly sorted. Sandstone and siltstone lithic fragments exist in the sample, the siltstones ranging from .075 mm to .3 mm, and sandstones around .15 mm. Both siltstones and sandstones are sub-angular to sub-rounded in shape with minimal borders. Small minerals including Biotites can be observed in the fabric as well as quartz grains, measuring .01 mm to .03 mm.
