Description

The fabric is dark orange-brown color in PPL, dense, and very silty (ca. 25% silt). The silt is comprised of quartz, opaques and some low second order heavy minerals. There are rare vugh-shaped voids (80–550 microns). Inclusions are rare, as the clay is well-sieved, with very few fine sand-sized rounded opaques and very rare sub-angular fine sand-sized quartz grains.
