Description

The fabric exterior is orange-brown in PPL. The wide core is light gray. C:f:v of 25:70:5, few voids. Inclusions are poorly sorted. The dominant inclusion is fine-grained calcareous material, perhaps chalk, sub-rounded ranging from very fine sand to medium silt-sized grains. Few sub-angular elongate and equant quartz, ranging from fine sand-medium silt-sized. Rare terra rossa clay pellets, well-rounded.
