The silt contains mostly well-sorted angular quartz, fragments of Kurkar and limestone, chert and feldspars. The a-plastic components consist of moderately sorted sub-angular quartz (~10%, 50-200µm); kurkar fragments; lime stone many well preserved marine microfossils such as Amphiroa algae and other coralline algae and plant remains.
