Description

The fabric is a dark reddish-brown marl, silty and double-spaced with ~20% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 10% sub-angular to rhomboid dolomite (40-280 μm), 10% sub-rounded to sub-angular chalk/calcareous concretions, 5% sub-angular to sub-rounded shale/clay pellets, 1% sub-angular to angular quartz (20-120 μm); some: rounded foraminifera (30-80 μm).
