Description

The fabric is a silty and slightly optically active marl, single-spaced with ~10% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 35% rounded foraminifera (30-400 μm), 5% sub-angular to rounded shale/opaque minerals (40-600 μm), 5% angular to sub-rounded quartz (30-350 μm, some zoned); some: sub-angular to sub-rounded siltstone/calcareous concretions (40-600 μm), rhomboid dolomite (30-60 μm), sub-angular to elongated feldspar (30-120 μm), sub-angular to sub-rounded basalt (80-280 μm).
