The fabric is marly, slightly optically active, and silty with ~20% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 50% rounded foraminifera (40-350 μm), 2% sub-angular to angular quartz (30-80 μm); some: sub-rounded to rounded clay pellets (40-150 μm), sub-angular chalk (60-400 μm), elongated shell (40-120 μm); rare: sub-angular feldspar (30-60 μm), sub-rounded opaque minerals (30-70 μm).
