Description

The fabric is a dark and silty-fine marl/shale, single-double spaced with ~10% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 10% sub-angular to sub-rounded shale (50-450 μm, reddish), 15% sub-rounded to rounded quartz (60-600 μm, well-sorted), 10% sub-rounded to rounded chalk/calcareous concretions (40-150 μm); some: rounded foraminifera (30-100 μm), rhomboid dolomite (50-120 μm), sub-rounded opaque minerals (30-80 μm).
