Description

The fabric is an optically active marl that is foraminiferous and silty with ~10% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 50% rounded foraminifera (40-400 μm), 10% sub-angular to sub-rounded chalk (150-1000 μm); some: elongated shell (40-120 μm), sub-angular to sub-rounded quartz (30-150 μm), sub-angular limestone (40-120 μm), rounded clay pellets (50-180 μm), elongated feldspar (30-50 μm).
