The fabric is marly and slightly optically active, single-spaced and silty, with ~20% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 20% sub-angular to rounded chalk/calcareous concretions (80-1200 μm), 5% angular to rounded quartz (30-200 μm); some: sub-angular to sub-rounded serpentine/opaque (40-150 μm), rhomboid dolomite (40-80 μm), rounded foraminifera (30-80 μm).
