The fabric is fine and double-spaced, comprised of calcareous marl/shale with ~25% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 15% sub-rounded to rounded shale/clay balls (40-180 μm), 15% foraminifera (30-180 μm), 5% sub-angular to sub-rounded limestone (40-140 μm), 3% angular quartz (30-180 μm); some: rhomboid dolomite (40-60 μm).
