Description

The fabric is dark and comprised of marl, single-spaced with ~20% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 25% sub-angular to rounded limestone/calcareous concretions (30-650 μm), 10% angular to rounded quartz (poorly sorted, 20-380 μm), 3% sub-angular to sub-rounded basalt (40-550 μm), 5% rhomboid to sub-angular dolomite (30-150 μm); some: sub-angular to elongated feldspar (30-120 μm), sub-rounded to rounded shale/opaque minerals, rounded foraminifera (30-80 μm).
