Description

The fabric is silty marl, slightly optically active, single spaced with ~10% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 40% rounded foraminifera (30-450 μm), 5% angular to sub-rounded shale (50-500 μm); some: sub-angular to sub-rounded chalk (40-400 μm), sub-angular to sub-rounded limestone/calcareous concretions (40-350 μm), sub-angular to sub-rounded quartz (30-250 μm), elongated shell (1200-1500 μm).
