Description

The fabric is a dark alluvial soil, double-spaced with ~20% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 10% sub-angular to sub-rounded calcareous concretions (40-800 μm), 10% bimodal quartz (20-50 μm angular; 100-320 μm sub-angular to rounded, some cracked, zoned); some: rounded shale (50-350 μm, dark with quartz), sub-rounded opaque minerals (30-80), rounded foraminifera (30-60 μm).
