General Information
This ware belongs in the Northwestern Troodos ware group identified based on petrographic analysis by J. Gordon-Smith: Inclusions: plagioclase-feldspar, quartz, (clino-)pyroxene, grog, opaques and glass. Occasional amfibole and foraminifera. It originates in the northern Troodos foothills. This is recognisable by the combination of pyroxene, feldspar and plagioclase from the ultra-basic rocks of the Troodos Mountains and volcanic glass from the pillow lavas.
Abundent-moderately abundent angular or sub-angular temper, 2-0.01 mm Inclusions: plagioclase-feldspar, quartz, (clino-)pyroxene, grog, opaques, and glass. Occasional amfibole and foraminifera
