General Information
This ware is generally dated between LC I-IIA in Cyprus (Aström 1972, SCE IV:ID, p. 700).
In Alalakh the color of the core varies throughout. Reddish-brown (2.5YR 4/6, 5/6, 5/8) fabric is the most common, whereas grey, brown (7.5 YR 3/4) and light brown (2.5 Y 6/6) are seen rarely. They have red, brown and black slip. Bowls and rarely lids are the forms represented at Alalakh. Bowls have different body and rim types.
