General Information
Description
A rare plain fabric found on Cyprus in the Iron Age, usually in the later Cypro-Archaic period, contains a high amount of mica (MIC). Mica flashes in the light. Sherds from these vessels are usually brown to purple in color. These fragments may very well not be Cypriot at all and could come from imported Samian amphorae.
