General InformationThis ware is used for open table shapes. It is a Late Egyptian Sigillata, imitating the other Egyptian Red Slip wares of the same period in Egypt (Groups O/W Assouan, Group K Nile Silt Middle Egypt = Egyptian Red Slip A & B).
Description
The fabric is of fine, sandy texture and is hard and dense. The color is pale red to pale yellow with red and white small inclusions.
