Description
Hard, fine, buff fabric (2.5Y 7/4) with low porosity (5%). There are small rounded lime inclusions (0.5 to 1mm) and small elongated organic inclusions (0.5 to 1mm). Powdery and soft feel. Depending on the firing conditions, the fabric might get darker and redder (5YR6/6) in some parts. Some of the vessels are made of a fine reddish fabric (5YR 6/6) and can be covered with a buff slip.
