Description
Yellowish/light red body tempered with small mineral inclusions (white and red). Quite soft and porous.
The surfaces are usually lighter than the core. The outer surface can present traces of red slip (not well preserved). This group has thin walls. The most common shape is a small jug with slightly bulb neck and simple rim. Even if principally plain, this group can present an impressed geometric decoration. One item has a decorated filter.
This material comes from the area of Bustan Nassif, Baalbek (Lebanon).
