Cooking pot (Kochtopf), type TO.01.01.171.X.X.X.X, individually catalogued as wheel-made. Fabric 2 (macroscopic); break GLEY 2 2.5/5PB. Exterior and interior: unslipped. Exterior 5YR 6/2; interior 5YR 2.5/1. The catalogue dates the specimen to300–100BCE and explicitly states that it is not from the Ceyhan plain; no specific workshop is established. The individual identity is also explicit in reflected-light microscope figure80.3 (78), labelled Fabric2, and thin-section figure62 (65), labelled SH-4. Table86 (84) lists lab SH-4, sample 4, this exact sherd, and PG-2. The microscopy of the ceramic break is distinct from the thin-section image. PG-2 is described as an andesitic–dacitic petro-fabric dominated by volcanic components (63–64,83); its exact production source remains unclear. The source PG-2 attribution is retained without an established crosswalk to a shared LCP petro-fabric. SE-A0374 is the light-clay floor in BuildingA2 roomA2:C, phaseA05 (259–260); adjacent pitA0375 cuts it. Joins of a different imported vessel permit contemporaneity or later disturbance; the tentative end-second-century phase estimate does not replace this individual catalogue date. A combined drawing label195+215 also occurs; its relationship does not establish an object merge, while the publication and analytical labels distinguish both sherds. The ware essay reports group-level hand-formed attached handles, hard firing and soot, whereas the individual forming entry is wheel-made. Individual firing, hardness and use residues remain unassigned. Fabric2 macroscopic classification is distinct from petrographic analysis. Cooking/Food production is a broad form-based function; actual contents unknown. Catalogue and analysis: Sophia Evamaria Marxer (2026).
