A large deposit of 5th to 7th c. amphoras, including Late Roman Amphora 1 (LRA 1), was detected just off the shores of Arap Island, some 30 to 45 meter in depth. Given the sparse nature of the assemblage, mostly due to the extremely rocky sea bottom, it is not clear whether it can be considered a wreck or a seabed deposit/jettison area. Late Roman Amphora 1 (LRA 1) aboard.
