The fabric is a dark greenish-brown in PPL and significantly degraded, probably from high firing temperatures. Planar and vesicular shaped voids are common, and many seem to be burnt out calcareous grains. Silt represents about 3% of the entire fabric.
Aplastic components range from 100–200 microns across and tend to be angular to sub-angular in shape. Polycrystalline quartz is the most common, ca. 40–50%, while decomposed and unidentifiable calcacreous material is ca. 30%
