Description

Fabric is a light brown-green with many flecks and areas of mottled red-brown, from iron oxide (?). Silty clay, ca. 10%, comprised of mica and quartz. Aplastic inclusions are subangular, often have iron staining, and demonstrate a bimodal distribution, clustered around 800-900 microns and 150-300 microns. Quartz is the dominante inclusion, plagioiclase feldspare is common, few chert, few pyroxene, very few dark red opaques.
