The sample has a ferruginous micaceous clay matrix containing rare silty quartz. Sand-size non plastic inclusions are rare and compose not more than 2 percent of the sherd’s volume and could be naturally present within the clay. They comprise angular to rounded chert, sub-rounded to rounded quartz and quartzite, accompanied by few fragments of ferruginous shale, chalk, and mica-and-quartz rock. The inclusions are 0.1-0.4 mm with one rounded chert grain is 1.2 mm, and, most likely, are a natural component of the clay. Firing temperature estimated c. 750°C.
