The matrix is ferruginous clay with some silt-size quartz and carbonate relicts. Inclusions - well sorted sand-size quartz subrounded to rounded is dominant. Plagioclase, limestone and chalk - rare. The inclusions constitute about 10% of the total volume of the sherd.
Firing temperature was estimated close to 750 degrees Celsius.
