The fabric is dark and alluvial with ~25% voids. The non-plastic inclusions are: 25% angular to rhomboid calcite (60-650 μm), 5% angular quartz (30-120 μm); some: sub-angular to sub-rounded calcareous concretions/chalk (80-450 μm), rounded clay pellets (50-180 μm), sub-angular to sub-rounded basalt (50-160 μm), elongated feldspar (30-50 μm).
