This is the main
fabric group at Palaepaphos Hadjiabdoulla. It is characterized by a fine calcareous matrix packed with rounded fragments
of micritic limestone and microfossils in which the mudstone fragments have
been added as temper. The absence of other non plastic inclusions leads to the assumption that the
raw material was either very fine or has been sieved prior to use.
