Discovered during 1998 while conducting a rescue excavation in the monasatery of Deir Nuah located on the southern outskirts of of Tueninir. Three kilns were closed group in a workshp area. The phrase "Deir Nuah" was written on a storage jar from the monastery area. The pottery workshop and monastery were violently destroyed in the 11th century. The workshop was primarily dedicated to creating pottery fermentation vessels and transport vessels for the 2 wine presses that operated in the monastery.
