Discovered during 1994 while conducting a rescue excavation in the southwest corner of a Medieval suq (market). The name is the pottery workshop is stamped on cookpot handles that were found directly associated with the medium size domed kiln. The pottery workshop and market were violently destroyed in the 13th century.
