Established by the Armenian master David Ohannessian in 1919, under the auspices of the Pro-Jerusalem Council, for producing tiles for the planned restoration of the Dome of the Rock. The workshop used Moza clay and imported pigments. Up to 1948 produced architectural decorative tiles and various vessels.
