Background: In their survey of LRA1 workshops, Empereur and Picon describe "une petite prodution de LR1" near Apolakkia (1989:242). Unfortunately, no further evidence is given, and no archaeological work has been conducted at Apolakkia. Dipinti on LRA 1 found in Rome and Ballana might corroborate the assumption of Rhodian production.
