For the past 8 years I have conducted petrographic analysis of pottery in Egypt, both locally produced and imported. Projects have ranged in date from 3000BC to the Medieval Period; from the Delta area to Aswan and including the Oases. My interest is in production technology and movement of pottery within Egypt and throughout the Eastern Mediterranean.
