I specialize in the archaeology of the southern Levant.  I have fieldwork experience primarily at ancient harbor sites (Tell Nami, Ashkelon, Tel Akko, Tel Dor), but have also worked in the Negev, Akko Plain, and in northern California.  I direct the Bade Museum at Pacific School of Religion, built around the excavated materials from Tell en-Nasbeh.  I've published studies on the religion, economy, and society at Iron II Tell en-Nasbeh, as well as interregional interconnections in the Babylonian-early Persian phase at the site.
